ABOUT ERICK FLAIG

I was born in the mountains of Central Pennsylvania...well, actually in a hospital located in a city in the mountains of Central Pennsylvania.  Soon after my birth, I decided that I should grow up, but I am still working on that goal.  I started writing while still in the fifth grade, and some would say that was when I did my best work.  My favorite days in class were when the Scholastic book ads arrived, and when the books themselves arrived.

Today, I write for that 9 to 12 age group, with occasional forays into the world of older readers with books like "Call Me Ishmael," and "The Strange Case of the Dog in the Night."

I read everything from Young Adult to classics like "The Tale of Genji," hike, bike, watch too much television, and root for Pittsburgh in whatever sport they're playing that day, along with Norwich City in the EPL.  I'm happily married with 3 great offspring.
